In 1978, NRK TV in Norway did this excellent program on Irish traditional music on radio, TV, and recordings. About half of it shows the Bothy Band recording their 3rd album and playing live on RTE television. An amazing trip to the past!

@danielsiepmann I have discussed this several times with my colleagues and everyone agrees that plugin development for #CKEditor5 is hell.

I don't know why #TYPO3 decided to keep using #CkEditor5, because I don't see any benefit. It seems very over-engineered (it has its own debug console!) and all plugins from #CkEditor4 have to be completely rebuilt as there is no upgrade path. So it wouldn't matter if #TYPO3 had switched to another #RTE.

Would love to see #tiptap or #tinymce in #TYPO3.

This notion that @rte ‘stars’ must be paid excessively for fear of losing them is a bit of a misnomer . Without the profile they have through #rte , they wouldn’t be ‘stars’ at all . Also all agents should be banned . Should be a salary scale for all employees- clear & simple!

A very promising effort: the show flows, questions are pitched at a good level, and the cream rises to the top.

I don't ask for perfection on the first series, only that there's promise - and Ireland's Smartest has a lot of promise.

If #CBC gets crushed by right-wingers in 2026 and we are forced to build #PublicRadioCanada from scratch then I'd like this show included in the schedule.

Maybe they'll us broadcast older episodes of the show (if we ever get there).

The depth and breadth of radio shows on #BBCsounds is amazing.

I'm impressed with #RTE in #Ireland and #RNZ in NewZealand (so much great material for less than $50M NZD per year in funding - outstanding).

They really put some thought and love into #ABC radio in #Australia.

Being an information and news junkie I love the #CBC because it represents my country.

If you have a #PublicRadio service in your country then please do what you can to help prevent right-wingers from shutting it down.
