Rachmaninoff's GANZNÄCHTLICHE VIGIL (#Vesper) op. 37 verlangt nach einem exorbitant guten Chor. Was für ein Glück und was für eine Freude, dass ausgerechnet der #Rundfunkchor Berlin, für mich einer der besten Chöre der Welt, sich heute in der #Gethsemanekirche #Berlin sich dieses betörenden und gänsehautverursachenden Werkes angenommen hat. Man könnte auf die Knie sinken vor Bewunderung für diese großartige Leistung... 10 von 10, ach was sag ich 11 von 10 Punkten!

Der Künstler selbst bestand auf der Schreibeweise mit ...ff - es ist die französische Schreibweise. Die russische mit ...v oder...w lehnte er aus Protest gegen sein Heimatland ab.
Ich werde ab sofort nur noch Rachmaninoff benutzen.

Also touches on Villani's sometimes difficult journey to acceptance as an #LGBTQ person. Well worth a watch
