We need to tell the world that capitalist 'charity' isn't the only way to help us.
We must continue to toot our own horns, because the other side is busy SCREAMING that we and those we love are literally The Great Satan and calling for their and our deaths.

Als ich eben eine Straßenbahn sah mit der Werbung drauf, habe ich einmal recherchiert, wer oder was das ist.

Mit Erstaunen habe ich festgestellt, dass der Baumarkt #OBI dahintersteckt. Deren Logo ist aber tatsächlich nirgendwo zu sehen.

Nun Frage ich mich, wie ich das finden soll und ob es schon unter #RainbowCapitalism fällt oder nicht. Was meint Ihr dazu?

Also me: Yay, [employer]'s merch store has #DEI lanyards and #pronoun pins back in stock! But they don't have He/They so I have to buy both

Corporations cannot save us. Not just _will_ not, _can_ not. They are too tied into the capitalist machine, too beholden to the whims of the governments they work with, and even a truly principled stand will erode over time in light of these forces.

We should not compromise to make things more welcoming for them.

What #RainbowCapitalism _does_ do, however, are two things:

1. Acts as a social barometer.
2. Communicates broadly that "this is socially acceptable."

With the whole #target debacle going on it just goes to show that corporations are not our allies, they never were and never will. They never cared about our oppression. They were trying to make s buck off of us. Do not trust the corporation #RainbowCapitalism

Apparently William Hill (a betting shop in the UK) is "Proud to support pride". This is a level of #RainbowCapitalism that I find profoundly nauseating. Though I admit to having a particular issue with Hill because the replaced my favourite DVD rental store with the third betting shop on the street.

#Altruismus sicherlich nicht. Disney was too close to fascists and the goverment, watch how they as a corporation.
