I spent a couple of hours today hanging out at Rainbow Hub. It was the second time I'd been there and I felt very welcome and comfortable. I tend to be nervous going into such spaces for the first time, not because I'm pretty vanilla in my own sexual/ gender identity, but because I fear inadvertantly saying the song thing and getting scolded. My foot may have gone into my mouth at some point during my two visits, but everyone was very relaxed and friendly. Thanks whānau!
