Almost had mussels and linguini for dinner tonight.

They were cooked. They were plated. My wife thought they smelled and tasted funny and I concurred, even though I'm a terrible judge of that.

We'll know in 30-60 more minutes if the 2-3 I ate before we threw them all out will have any adverse effect.

Don't tell my mother, but I enjoy the traditional Italian Christmas Eve dinner of swordfish poached in marinara sauce w/linguine much more than the traditional German Wienerwürstchen and potato salad.

I've always maintained I'm a bad German because I don't like most of the German staple foods like sauerkraut and the various fried schnitzels.
