The #ReactOS VM which is hosting http://hl.la10cy.net and Xash3D Gameservers was online and stable for 18 days - and today it crashed with a good old fashioned #bluescreen 😵

But it is pretty amazing that ReactOS came to the point, where it runs straight for 18 days! I remember the earlier days back in 2006 when (i think) reactos 0.2 was out, right clicking the on the desktop forced the machine to crash :D

@aaronk6 want to give you a quick update. i havent managed to make a monitoring yet, but I had an eye on the ram usage. With the build I use (0.4.15-20230205), I see a very stable Ram usage over ~2 weeks. ~160MB are used with nginx, php 5.4 and two xash3ds servers running. This build seems to be quite stable so far.
Maybe an update to a more recent version of #ReactOS would fix the problem you see on your system? :)

RT reactos: A bugfix in TCP/IP driver that allows 0xFFFF as valid port number (therefore fixing BSoDs after hours/days of networking usage) has been merged into #ReactOS, by Doug Lyons!
@KCSoftwares reports 30+ days of networking without a crash!

@drahcir_rahl who they should be complaining to is their hardware supplier and I think (even though it’s ironic) these kind of video’s even help for that reason.

So don’t be too hard on people that are blissfully ignorant to think they live in a world where if you buy new hardware it just works with #Linux #FreeBSD and hell even #ReactOS 😎

These people expect the world to be as it should be and then complain (loudly) that it’s not the case. Just passive aggressive #idealists

RT reactos: Funny #ReactOS moment: Word XP setup thinks we are Windows 2000 beta ^^

close to 6 days #uptime - but then the weekly backup (of another vm) caused the #ReactOS VM (http://reactos.la10cy.net) to stop (why ever)

after 4 days and 13 hours the #ReactOS #Xash3D crashed spectacular. Xash3D 0.19 still runs, NGINX and PHP as well, but the system got unresponsive and messed up :D

The #ReactOS server http://reactos.la10cy.net got an update! Beside running #Xash3D and NGINX it can now run #PHP! :)
Unfortunately only the outdated 5.4 version runs for now, any newer version crashes immediately.

First tests running #hlds 4.1.1.1e (steamlessproject.nl) under #ReactOS 0.4.15-dev are doing well :) Let's see if the latest #Steam one runs also

Abgefahren, wie sich das #ReactOS Projekt entwickelt hat und wie stabil das mittlerweile (verhältnismäßig zu vor ein paar Jahren) geworden ist. Mal schauen ob Half-Life funktionert :)
