I am currently reading #ReadyPlayerTwo. While not as good as the first, I am still enjoying it.

If another book is made in the series, I would really like for it to be a prequel about the creation and the growth of the Oasis.

More about the technology than the nostalgia.

Wobei "ausgelesen" nicht passt.
Ich habe es erfolgreich, die unwichtigen/langweiligen/unnötigen Stellen galant überspringend, überflogen und weiß nun wie es endet.

bin bei Seite +150 von den ~400 Seiten und es nimmt & nimmt keine Fahrt auf. Klar entwickelt sich die Story weiter aber sehr schleppend ... und noch eine Rückblende sonst wo hin, noch eine überdetaillierte Beschreibung von irgendwas, noch eine "Pop" Referenz ("ich zog meine original Michael Air Jordans an" lol) ...
Alles sehr mit angezogener Handbremse bis hier hin, vermutlich weil die eigentliche Story in 100 Seiten erzählt wäre 😑

Korrektur, die Story ist bislang langweilig und belanglos. Bisheriger Höhepunkt, ich habe gerade vier Seiten Egoperspektive "ich gehe durch meine Garage und beschreibe Autos" übersprungen und kurz darauf das Buch leicht genervt neben mich gelegt.

Ich weiß nicht ob ich das Buch komplett lesen werde 😐

Finished reading #ReadyPlayerTwo . Wasn't a fan of this one... Starting to doubt if I'd enjoy #ReadyPlayerOne if I read it today, instead of 2011. Any recommendations for a next book? I enjoy not too difficult, fast paced scifi/dystopian books, like #OneWordKill #PaperGirls

After calling Ready Player One by Ernest Cline one of my favorite books, I’m disappointed to say I refuse to finish #ReadyPlayerTwo.

It‘s a joyless, heartless slog. Wade is now a total asshole. And the nostalgia porn is so cringeworthy that even as an 80s kid I can’t stand it.
