I read Haidt’s piece in the Atlantic and he lost me when he said he doesn’t allow electronic devices in his classes at all.

Ok, so… what about the students with accommodations? They just don’t take your class? Explain that to Disability Services. It must be nice to be in such a position of privilege.

People like that can go and play in a microwave tbh.

Nearly all college students work and/or care for family. 1 in 5 has a #kid. Many are over 25 and *all* are #adults and #humans first.
