We need a new law to make sure everyone has a real living wage, which keeps up with inflation and that staffing numbers and working conditions don’t put undue stress on workers or put their health at risk in anyway.

I'm a big fan of the #RealLivingWage but it's not enough to address #poverty on its own. This is an interesting study from Sweden showing that:

"there is a need for direct policies, active #labourmarket reforms that work in favour of a more inclusive labour market, tackling discrimination and labour market segmentation, and higher lowest wages. As our study shows, raising minimum wages to the level suggested by the EU will not be enough to prevent in-work poverty."
