^@carlsbadcavernsnps: "Hey Bob, SLOW DOWN!"
Wildlife encounters at Carlsbad Caverns NP are often unexpected. While driving our park roads, use caution and slow down, especially at times when visibility is reduced. Observe the posted speed limits in the park and watch out for wildlife alongside or crossing the road.
What animals have you been lucky to spot during your visit to a national park?

@mcmorgan I don't fault anyone for doing anything after the abuse we all got from the bad crowds in 2020 & 2021. Many visitors were terrible then.
Current visitors shouldn't be surprised that nothing is open. If they are, they ignored #RecreateResponsibly's #1 rule: Know before you go.

Did you know if you hold an ermine up to your ear, you can hear what it’s like to be attacked by an ermine?
For the record, don’t pick up any wild animal…even if it’s “stoatally”cute!
