I also study #HumanGenetics, especially as it relates to #InfectiousDisease. I use #PopulationGenetics to identify genes that may be #coevolving with parasites and could affect resistance to diseases like #malaria. Malaria-relevant genes are often expressed in #RedBloodCells.
