This snap taken yesterday on stretch of beach between Redcar and Marske on the north east coast uk.
You know it’s cold when the sand is frozen, must be even colder on that ship which has just left Tees harbour. Nice to see a bit of blue sky though amongst the recent misty weather.

Redcar blast furnace from Seaton Carew last month. A nice day so I took the train down with my #Brompton 🚴 for a tootle along the prom and then onwards to Hartlepool headland. The steelworks was demolished this morning #Redcar #blastfurnace

Goodbye #RedcarBlastFurnace . We get told you can't keep everything but the problem is they keep nothing, just tear the history down and tell us to move on. No the wonder we have such an identity crisis in the North East, people are repeatedly shown that they just don't matter.
