my reference to Ukraine refugee crisis was simply to set the context that allowed UK government to turn away so completely from the Afghanistan betrayal & crisis of their making. I should have added that the UK media allowed them to get away with this. In no way was I suggesting that Ukraine or Ukrainians were ‘somehow partly to blame for this’ - Putin, yes: but not 🇺🇦!
