It's happening, it's finally happening! That #client I hate working with has decided to end their relationship with my employer!

It's like getting out of a bad #relationship where you are only doing things because you are getting paid to do them, but you dont' like doing them.

My wife usually packs my lunch for me, to take to work each morning. She knows I absolutely loathe pickles. She decided to include a tiny little plastic container in my lunchbox containing one singular slice of pickle to troll me. The other people in my office thought it was the cutest thing.

The #relationship wasn’t working for either of us. We agreed to end it, although we were a little ambiguous about ‘giving it another go at some point’. I know we shouldn’t do that. I also know she’s holding onto some hope. It really hurts to be the one to cut that thread of hope. I need to. I keep putting it off.

1/ I ended a #relationship that wasn’t working for either of us. I put off the decision for a few months until she suggested we take a break. We found it hard to detach and our break up remained ambiguous with the possibility of getting back together after an indeterminate amount of time. We were dragging out the separation. Eventually she said she wants us to stay together but I know the relationship isn’t right for me. And yet I still find the idea of her with another really hard to deal with.

@melancholic , I had to take an #ethics course at my #university. There are three broad categories: #moral, #ethical, #legal. The consequence for #immoral behavior is loss of a #relationship. It's not illegal to be a shitty person and cheat on your partner; however, a consequence is loss of that relationship. Not all laws are moral and not all immorality is illegal. See laws targeting the #LGBTQ population
