And so to give the brain a break, I decided it was time to #Emacs a lot today. First, realizing the genuine imitation company-branded #slide #presentation deck with #orgmode and #revealjs. Then getting my #orgroam capture templates out into separate files where they will hopefully be less annoying to maintain. I don't know why I still feel #guilty about performing a #web #search instead of using the built-in #info pages. I should really just get over it.

I spent too much time today trying to imitate the #corporate #slide deck #template with #orgmode and #revealjs. Mostly on fighting against the images on the title slide and getting them to end up just so. (And mostly failing.) There’s a reason I’m not paid to #html or #css.
On the other hand, I can easily get such slide decks to look like they actually belong in this company, so banging out a minimally-acceptable #presentation should be pretty easy.

Oh my goodness me. With https://github.com/yjwen/org-reveal I don’t have to write a #slidedeck in #powerpoint or #keynote or #impress or even #markdown. But I will not be so cruel as to inflict #orgmode on my co-workers. The #pandoc #Revealjs workflow with #markdown works just fine, it #commits well to #git, and it’s easy to #iterate quickly.
I cannot and will not guarantee safety from #emacs #OrgModeWorkflow for my #extracurriculars and #hobbies. 😈

A question for the #markdown, #Revealjs, #python hive mind: I am looking for the best slide presentation tool. My dream would be:
1. Output to revealjs or similar.
2. Ease of use like #quarto
3. #quarto's shiny server backend for interactive code but for #python
4. Beautiful and dynamic formulas like #manim incl. it's ability to move parts of equations and animate numbers.
I know I can do patchwork style. But our there was something a bit more integrated, I'd be happy to know!

@richlucas I’ve only just started using #revealjs and #quartoPub for presentations and am loving it, but still struggling a bit to get images to display exactly how I want them. I can write the html and css for what I want, and then revealjs applies terrible styles to counteract it!
I've been trying to style images in #quartoPub #revealjs presentations by adding style tags like this:
{style="max-height: 20em;"}
But this just styles the div.quarto-figure that contains the image and doesn't work:
<div class="quarto-figure quarto-figure-center" style="height: 20em;">
<figure>
<p><img src="img.jpg" data-lazy-loaded=""></p>
<p></p>
<figcaption>Caption</figcaption>
<p></p>
</figure>
</div>
Any ideas?
