Not sure why people are excited about #Revolut ?

It was hacked before it even launched and is just some bank trying to achieve regulatory escape velocity. No deposit insurance. I personally would not go near it.

Making Debut Bank - Getting Debut onto Mastodon

@donkey @JonathanMosen @explorergrace I came across a platform called #Debut. Since November last year, they changed tack, and are building New Zealand’s first digital bank, similar to #Monzo, #UpBank #Revolut. I mean, how many of us would have guessed that the follow up phone call was a #scam, given that we had just reported a suspected scam and were waiting for it to be investigated?

Damn.... #Revolut is so awesome. Just remembered that they have Amazon cashback on the Metal plan but didn't get any cashback yet. Just opened a ticket with all the transactions missing a cashback, instantly have an operator chatting with me and cashbacks are flowing.
If only all banks were this responsive. +1 for them!
