reminds me of what @SurfXi once wrote about #revolutions consisting mainly in replacing a-class-of-dominant-protagonists with another-one without changing the fundamentals-of-human-domination. He was mainly thinking about the Digital Revolution leading to the replacement of 20th Century dynasties-of-world-masters by 21rst ones. But it works as well with the French 1789's revolution leading to the Bonaparte's Empire. Can we actually find one counterexample of his say ?
