It seems to be a real problem, to find a command line tool to view or modify lyrics within id3-metadata. 🤔
#Rhythmbox also does not support lyrics in #mp3 files.
AFAIR #iTunes had a perfect 3rd-party add-on & #bashee (R.I.P.) as well.
