Something altogether different now. Ten inch Rickie Lee Jones "girl at her volcano".
This is an early digital recording using the 3M recording system and like everything I've heard recorded with that system it sounds really excellent. The Nightfly is another example.

A lot of people under the age of 50 missed this one: Rickie Lee Jones' Self-Titled. It's a great record. If you like Tom Waits' music from the late 70s, this is like a different perspective on a similar Los Angeles.
