Without knowing it was happening like two blocks away from my destination, my late-night trip to get snacks ended up with me driving right past a gigantic fireworks show, which left me feeling like I was free racing thought the end credits of a #RidgeRacer or something.

The venerable Ridge Racer Type 4 is finally available on PS5. I already bought the game on the PlayStation Store ages ago, so I trundle off to my library and… it's not there.

For some reason R4 is a PlayStation Plus Premium exclusive, despite older PS1 titles that I've bought and got upgraded for PS5, simply being readily accessible upon release. Sony is quickly becoming as silly with digital library access as Nintendo.
