Have been here for a few days now after #migration . Pleased at how civil everything is and think I have the hang of the basics. How are you using Mastodon though? Mostly just your timeline, instance or global?

Finding myself sticking to looking through the Scottish server for now as suspect I would be overwhelmed looking at the global feed until I get more used to hashtags.

I got an email from Twitter, and when I clicked on "unsubscribe" I was taken to my (dormant) profile instead of an unsubscribe page. So I don't know if I'm unsubscribed or not.

I do know that Twitter isn't working properly, which is not surprising. And if unsubscribing no longer works, Twitter may be in violation of spam laws in the US and possibly elsewhere. #RIPTwitter

I’ve been here TWO WEEKS now. So I simultaneously feel like an old timer and a complete novice. But today feels like a good day to start spending more time with the elephant than the bird.
