The #RiverVer is being killed. A wet weekend revealed just a little clear groundwater trickling downstream to be joined by a poisonous cascade of motorway and housing estate runoff that's now dominating our #chalkstream.

Because our volunteers care! A couple of hardy souls spent a damp morning clearing a blocked footbridge. Structure now free of debris and the backed up water has fallen away by 30cm to let the #RiverVer flow like a chalk stream should. https://twitter.com/RUready4Wood/status/1588857411749937152
