Did you really expect a Hummer to be economical? The #Hummer EV only gets 1.48 miles per kWh. For comparison, the #F150Lightning has a max battery size of 131 kWh gets 2.29mi/kWh. The large-pack variant of #Rivian #R1S Dual Motor, with an 135-kWh battery gets 2.27mi/kWh.Why is Hummer EV so inefficient? Mostly its weight, tipping the scales at 9,063 pounds, 3000 of which are the battery alone.

This isn’t a surprising move after Ford and GM did it, but I’m actually very happy to see this as a soon to be #Rivian owner. This will make our road trips so much easier and pain free. A neighbor just got their #Rivian #R1S delivered in the same color as our order. They ordered back in early 2021 but once they got their guide it only took three weeks to get the car. They love it so far. I am going to have to see if they’ll do an interview as they also have a Polestar and are all electrical now. I hope this is a good sign for ours coming soon
