So, lessons learned from this poll (given it's limitations wrt size and sample bias):
My industry friends are right. The current theme of my game (#RoarOfAlliance, WW2 Tanks) is among the least broadly appealing of the easy thematic fits for the mechanics. I'll still finish off the assets for it as a print and play title, but it probably won't go to physical production - it would just cost too much per unit without the large volume of a big crowdfunding campaign.
Sharing more of my art from #RoarOfAlliance. This is one of the pieces where I realized I had gotten comfortable in the style I am using.
Published a major update for my game #RoarOfAlliance on itch! The text is updated to include complete, illustrated examples of play, and new art has been added.
The game is also on sale now until the end of the year!

#Illustration for the Crew Deck card back for #RoarOfAlliance is now complete.

One of yesterday's thumbnails now translated to the full sized drawing in pencil. I'll probably lose 35-45% of the sketched detail in the rendering process, while picking up some additional shape information.

My contribution for #TTRPGscreenshotSaturday is the layout #WIP from #RoarOfAlliance incorporating all of the example text that I completed. I've got the text flowed in, and need to build a few of the example figures.
Progress!
If I can put together one piece of art today, then I can wrap up this update and ship it this weekend.

@astralfrontier this sounds really cool! It is a totally different approach to cards than I'm using in #RoarOfAlliance, which gives players a hand of standard playing cards for their actions. This has some similarities, in that you know your options and most outcomes ahead of time (to a degree), but also a lot of differences.
Fascinating!
