My wife, on mat leave, was supposed to apply for EI yesterday. She couldn't because Rogers was down and her 2FA to her Rogers phone wouldn't work.

Maybe having a telecom duopoly isn't actually a great idea? Maybe staffing the regulatory body with ex-executives from these companies isn't a great idea either?
