Spouse gifted me a lifetime subscription to Rosetta Stone. I use #Duolingo daily in two languages, mainly to keep my streak alive, and I occasionally use Langotalk and listen to News in Slow Spanish/Italian.

Anyone have opinions on #RosettaStone? I've just done one lesson and like the interface, and speech recognition seems good. Thoughts on its effectiveness in the long term?

I finally did it and got rid of #duolingo 🥳 It was so frustrating with the new path learning. I didn't have the impression to get any further but the anxiety to loose my streak kept me going in this joyless torture.

Now I'll try #Lingodeer (which is very much like Duolingo but without Friends and Leadership boards) for Japanese and #RosettaStone for Polish. The later app doesn't give any translations which is fine for my Polish but not Japanese.
