You could walk out to the end of the pier alongside the train. It’s very sad that the train has now been relegated to a bleak platform on the edge of the vehicle boarding lanes.

Today for Part 5 of our #PortPlaces #App tour around the #IrishSea, we leave #Rosslare, cross the Irish Sea, passing the gannetry of Grassholm and the bird havens of Skokholm and Skomer to the North as the Pembrokeshire coast comes into view.
As we enter Milford Haven waterway, the ferry terminal and town of Pembroke Dock emerge.

Rosslare ferry port last night while meeting the Stenaline ferry from Fishguard. Little dog can be seen in the bottom of the frame anticipating the return of the other significant human in his life. Great spot for photos - might be worth further trips with a decent camera. Lots of activity and a good lens would allow zooming in on some of the action. #photography #ferry #port #freight #Wexford #Rosslare
