Oh happy days! I caught the last episode of the #RubeGoldberg arc and feared that was it, that was the show but no! The season continues on. With Pickles.

Behold the individual cogs of the furry #RubeGoldberg machine that has woken me every #morning of my current #housesit in #Phuket

First, we have tiny Maud, who starts the process of whacking Monty, the tubbiest of #cats (note his 'you're not working this morning until I get a butt pat and #breakfast stance) Then we have the final #furry component, Doris the #dog who Monty swipes so she'll wake me. Note the 'not morning dog' face, which belies the Great Squirrel Imperative of 4am.

I've just discovered that one of the cats we're #housesitting, wakes up the other #cat at 5am with a smack on the head, then that cat goes over to the #dog (who is completely deaf) and biffs her on the nose. The dog gets out of bed, waddles into the bedroom and presses her very cold nose to my cheek until I wake up, walk to the door and open it. I think I'm living in a furry #Rubegoldberg machine! This requires more #science research! (My engineer partner is already gleefully doing the math.)
