Really feeling tempted to resume continue playing #RuneScape again & do a little casual play to finish levelling skills that I never got to 99.

I'd want to play modern RuneScape, rather than Old School, to get access to all the newer skills.

What do you folks think?

been a little bit because we had to go the phone hospital due to the lovely forced obsolescence that seems like SOP in the devices industry these days. the patient was too wounded to continue, so we adopted a new one. which I guess is a good thing because this baby processes faster, but still somewhat annoying because the original could have been fine for years to come if glitches weren't being programmed into them to make you upgrade. so good thing or not? you decide.

1) new client agreed to my proposal instantly. very good news for my bottom line this year.
2) fun playing #runescape with the kids tonight. went up a level in farming.
3) making a lot of progress in #piano, namely with triplets. doodilydoodilydoo!

1) played #RuneScape online with my two adult kids who are across country, something we started when we couldn't see each other because of COVID two years ago. Leveled up in agility and fishing.
2) great steering committee meeting with colleagues, also online.

They left Fandom 4 years ago, partly because of excessive ads and have had pretty awesome growth since then. They get 1.5 billion views a year.

Coolest thing I've seen them do is fork the #MediaWiki Kartographer extension to display the in-game map instead of OSM.

I'm a pretty casual #OSRS player + the wiki is a phenomenal resource, so it's sad to see, but the maintainers need to be paid.
