@HugoBookClub Ah, yes, I was partially right. There's one hell of a lot of unionizing and industrial action, but not in Alexander Bogdanov's "Red Star" - it takes place "Engineer Menni", a prequel to "Red Star" published in 1913, which describes the "geo"-engineering a terraforming process of Mars which eventually leads to the establishment of a communist society on the planet.
