I've setup another Rusty Aquarium instance. This time showing the weekly activity on the hachyderm.io instance.
Each fish represents a week of activity at hachyderm.io. The size of the fishes show how many users registered that week, the fish speed is based on the number of statuses, and the amount of bubbles depends on the number of logins.

I've setup a Rusty Aquarium instance that shows the top 100 mastodon instances by user count.
Size of fishes is based on user count. If the instance allows registrations, it shows bubbles. If the instance is up it is a clownfish, if it's down it is a sea horse. The speed shows how many statuses the instance has.

I’m thinking of setting up Rusty Aquarium showing data from Mastodon. Maybe one fish per instance, with sizes based on users and speed based on activity. Type of fish could possibly be based on category.
