I just got a new phone (S23) but I'm struggling to adapt to no headphone port. Is it common to buy an adapter and use that or should I just move to Bluetooth?

@sirsean Haha, yeah for the S23 Ultra there's not much difference visually, apart from flatter sides and bigger camera bumps.

Main improvements are the new chip is faster and more powerful and more efficient (as it should be), the LTPO screen is improved, the main camera is now 200mp (up from 108mp) but the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 ("For Samsung") chip also delivers better photo processing. The main camera also has upgraded OIS that seems to compete fairly well with the iPhone 14 Pro's much touted gimbal-like stability when filming on the move.

It's pretty iterative over the S22 Ultra, but since I have an Exynos-chip S21 Ultra, it's going to be a MUCH more noticeable upgrade.

Pixel 7 Pro is lovely. I'll say upfront that I sold mine because I missed numerous small OneUI details more than I appreciated the cool Pixel features. Things I do most often just seem to suit me better on OneUI.

I'll be ordering the S23 Ultra, but mainly because my cousin works for a carrier and she gets a frankly ridiculous discount, haha.

I'm upgrading from an S21 Ultra. I used to upgrade annually, but I skipped the S22 Ultra because as much as I wanted the Snapdragon upgrade that I never expected to see in Australia, I just knew the S23 Ultra was going to do more with the cameras. So... I'm looking forward to it!

Nice. I have an #S21 Ultra and frankly it's a beast, but it's on #Exynos (I'm in Australia), and I've been tempted all year by the #S22 because it finally brought the #Snapdragon chip to Australia. Alas, that was really the only worthwhile change from my #S21Ultra, so I've resisted the urge. It's very likely I'll get the #S23 Ultra, though.
