More history: my original dev sketch of the room layouts for Money Bags on #SAMCoupe (1996). It was my answer to Jetset Willy on SAM, spawning 3 games.

I'm currently re-mastering Money Bags 2, the full sequel from 1997. Pre-orders will be open soon (and for three more re-mastered SAM games) with both floppy disk and Trinity SD card editions.

28 years ago PCBs were expensive! £244 for the first batch of boards for my #SAMCoupe Quazar Surround soundcard, my first hardware release for the SAM!

Now the new anniversary edition boards are about to be sent for manufacture!

(2/...) eBay sided with me but they refunded the buyer themselves. Sigh.

I've since repaired it (3 bent pins on the PLCC socket) designed and attached a 'Returned by a Scammer' decorative plate, reflashed the memory with the #ZXSpectrum games I've permission to include and the auction starts at £20, running for 7 days.

The cartridge works with the #ZXSpectrum with the Sinclair Interface 2 or my own ZX ROM Slot Interface, or on the #SAMCoupe with my ZX-ECUTOR interface. It can have...

Briefly, someone bought a new cart, immediately flagged it as dead on arrival, returned their old cart bought a year earlier. The design of switch showed it wasn't the new cart.

Does anyone have the #VIC20 game Garden Wars and can tell me the full list of keys/controls from the manual? (I should have checked the manual when at the Retro Computer Museum at the weekend!)

Can't seem to figure out keys in WinVICE so can't see where it's going wrong under emulation on the SAM Coupe.

It's tantalisingly close to working via my VIC Cart Interface on the #SAMCoupe...

While I was at the Retro Computer Museum in Leicester on Saturday I tried a few more #VIC20 cartridges from their collection with my VIC Cartridge Interface on the #SAMCoupe.

More games should be working after some emulator patching once I see what's going wrong, e.g. controls and default palette in Garden Wars.

Two of the museum's #samcoupe inhabitants are now upgraded with new mechanical keyboards, disk drives, memory etc) Will have to pass on my 'NetPac' game I wrote many years ago to let 2 SAM Coupe's play pac-man via their built in slow network...
