#SanFrancisco's public transportation is great - it’s affordable and extensive, with a large #metro network. The regional train to places like #Berkeley (BART) is 100% electrified, and CalTrain is currently electrifying some routes to the south. This makes it really easy to explore all the different spots in the #SFBayArea. I stayed for 11 days at HI #SanFrancisco Downtown #Hostel, which is super well-connected through Powell Street and doesn’t feel too touristy.

One nightclub that stood out to me in #SF was the #dnalounge, which runs without #Microsoft. I appreciate @jwz (the founder of Mozilla.org) for keeping this vibrant place alive with such diverse shows! #linux #SFBayArea

In #Germany, plastic bags and plastic packaging are put into the "#recycling bin", which can create a false impression. What I appreciate about the 3 waste bins in the #SFBayArea is that it's clear that this is landfill waste and not recyclable.
