That was a hard set. I like watching performers. Seeing how they work. How they breathe, stretch for a phrase. And there were songs on her set list that were hard AF. She pushed tonight.

She got the hiccups in the middle of one song. How she powered through that, I don't know. And her band!! They are so good. I enjoyed them as much as I enjoyed her.

Paula West is among the best. It was great to see her -- and her fans. They all love her so.

Also, Samara Joy is in town for JazzFest.
