Padilla: We must educate all [about HIV]--affected or not affected.
To formally close the webinar, we have the Chancellor of UP Manila, Dr. Carmencita Padilla.
The one thing I'm happy about HIV in the Philippines is the number of support systems.
Leyritana: The overall message when delivering news that someone is HIV positive is hope.
Teresita Marie Bagasao
Project Director of Meeting Targets and Achieving Epidemic Control (EpiC)-HIV, joins the panel.
Felix also shares that in 2006, she had myoma.
Trigger warning: suicide
Felix shares her experience upon learning that she was HIV-positive.
Due to fear, anxiety, stigma, and lack of proper information about the disease, she opens up about trying to kill herself before.
Elena Felix from the Association of Positive Women Advocates Inc. (APWAI) will get the ball rolling for our panel discussion.
