A pair of Lesser Mousedeer (Tragulus kanchil) resting in the undergrowth along the edge of a small wooded patch near Singapore's Central Catchment Nature Reserve. Once considered Critically Endangered in Singapore, this species seems to have made a recovery since the 1990s.

: At one of my regular fieldwork sites, a few Malayan Box Turtle (Cuora amboinensis) individuals have been seen soaking in Wild Boar wallows that become flooded after heavy rain. This individual was 1st seen in April 2021, and seen again monthly in Aug-Oct 2022.

The Temasek Green Tree Snail (Amphidromus atricallosus temasek), an arboreal inhabitant of Singapore's forests. This individual was seen in a small tree along the edge of the Central Catchment Nature Reserve.

This subspecies of may be endemic to ; further research is needed to confirm if it also occurs in Johor or the Riau Islands.
