holy smokes the Karlsson deal is done. It's HILARIOUS that Hoffman is a part of the deal, isn't it? Jokes aside, it's a huge W that they only retain 1.5M on Karlsson. Other player returns are meh, maybe you can extract some value at the deadline but Grier got a first rounder too?? Let's go?!

Seems like a nice and tidy day 1 for draft. I would have swung for the fences on Michkov but I can understand why the org might be risk averse at the 4 slot, and Smith still looks to have 1C upside. That's huge. Picking up Musty at 26 is by all accounts, a steal, which certainly helps soften the blow if you're salty about Michkov.
