I've put the coloring on the outfits of the Tigers from #MyLittleScythe and I'm fairly happy with the results. The eyes were difficult (as I assumed but I'm very happy with how they turned out since they were my first.)

Overall, the minis just seem chalky (?) and muted. Maybe they aren't as bright as I hoped bc I primed in black and maybe i didn't use enough white when doing the #SlapChop. I have 10 more to do, so any criticism would be helpful! #paintingminis #minipainting #minis #BoardGames

Trying my hand at painting some minis. #MyLittleScythe comes with unpainted ones and my 7 year old wanted them done. She is choosing the colors and I'm painting.

Since I've never done this and I'm not looking for them to be display worthy pieces of art, I'm using the #SlapChop method.

I'm fine with them at moment but the test will be if I can get the colors on the outfits to pop. Oh, and making the eyes half way decent...

@azm0 These are resin prints, and you can see the line still when drybrushing. I most depend on #slapchop for my painting technique so the quality of the mini has everything to do with the quality of my paint job.

Decided to give the #SlapChop method a try for #miniatures painting. I'll be honest; I wasn't 100% happy after the washes and went back to add a few more highlights. But either way, this definitely would have gotten this troll ready for the #TTRPG table in just an hour or two of painting.

I just primed two more models. Going to try this a few more times!
