Simply fascinating that #SMU got itself into the #ACC expansion discussion by effectively offering to subsidize the additions of #Stanford and #Cal by taking zero media money for 7(!) years. This is bizarro world even by conference realignment standards.

Source confirms to @TheAthletic that the ACC is (again) seriously considering adding #Stanford, #Cal and #SMU. A group of ACC presidents met Wednesday morning to discuss finances, as ESPN first reported. More meetings, including ADs, are expected to occur this week.
