So to circle back to my original question, I believe it is currently possible, when streaming from #gpg or #sq, that a degree of unauthenticated data would be emitted before the trustworthiness of it can be established? And that the AE coming in the next RFC will be a partial fix for this (addressing some but not all attacks) and your chunk encryption/signatures would be the ultimate fix?
