Cannot stress enough—today's #stlwx concerns are, in order of severity:
1) Temps
2) Winds
3) Snow

The most svr travel conditions emerge when all three are at their peak hazard, creating blizzard-like conditions on icy roads.

I've seen more than one comment not taking it seriously because they have low confidence in the precip fcst or don't think the fcst acc totals are sig enough.

Blowing snow will affect visibility just as much as falling snow.

As far as my #stlwx concerns with this system, here in South City we've not had the best luck with water pressure and water mains lately. Should a boil order be issued *and* we see a power outage of any significant duration, potable water would be the primary issue. I'm not trying to create a run on bottled water, but it's probably not a bad idea to pick up a couple cases as a precaution.
