IMHO it's not enough to make #SUV's and obese #Pickup #trucks uncool, but I wished that #taxation would not just go by engine displacement * emissions class as is now in Germany, but by deadweight - maximum weight and useable volume.

Ich wurde soeben von einem SUV Fahrer als "Bastard" beleidigt, da er mir die Vorfahrt, ohne zu Blinken, nehmen wollte. Ich wies ihn mit einer Handbewegung auf die Haltelinie hin, während er mich fast umfuhr. Aufgrund der Unwendigkeit seines Gespanns (SUV + Anhänger) musste ich mir wenigstens keine Sorgen machen, verfolgt zu werden.
Ein gutes oder neutrales Wort über SUV fahrende werdet ihr auf keinen Fall mehr von mir hören.

Really looking forward to the day when #Norway bans #SUV traffic in cities and sales of SUVs to the general public. SUVs are a mostly unnecessary, luxurious, planet-destroying commodity, and a waste of precious resources. Like private jets, mega mansions, or farmed fur coats, they belong in the past. #ClimateCrisis

4️⃣ Deshalb schlage ich auch vor, dass die #EU ihren Bedarf an strategischen Rohstoffen bis 2030 um 10% reduzieren soll: Ja, es braucht in den kommenden Jahren mehr Rohstoffe für Energiewende und digitale Transformation - aber nicht jedes Wachstumsszenario ist sinnvoll (#SUV)!
