The Saab C900 clutch assembly is an interesting piece of engineering. This photo is from the top, with the front of the car to the left. Clutch, pressure plate, and slave cylinder removal can be done without dropping the transmission as in most cars. It's still not exactly an easy operation because the pressure plate has to be compressed and a special tool inserted in it to keep it compressed while the parts are removed.

So I did an #introduction post back in April when I first joined, but lots has changed in the fediverse, including me setting up my own instance, so I should probably go again.

I'm not a real-name-on-the-internet sort of person, so you'll have to just invent your own name for me. mvyrmnd comes from a Saab owners forum a million years ago, it's "Move your mind" (their slogan at one time) minus all the vowels. It has the advantage of never being already in use on websites, and the disadvantage of no one knowing wtf it means or how to say it. I still don't know.
