Recent trip to Edinburgh as son settles into Uni.
Edinburgh Castle with Dumbiedykes council housing development in the foreground. They were built from 1959 to 1964 by Edinburgh City Architect's Department to replace Victorian tenements. The 15 individual tower buildings were refurbished around 2007 with a coloured render system applied (Viking Blue and Reef Green were chosen by residents in a consultation).
