G.M.Hiranandani- Nausena Medal for the operational planning. He would later become the Vice Admiral.

Also Lt Cmdr Bahadur Kavina( INS Nipat), Lt Cmdr Inderjit Sharma( INS Nirghat) and Lt Cmdr Om Prakash Mehta, the COs were given the Veer Chakras.
