Part 2 of trying #SegmentAnythingModel (#SAM) on capsule endoscopic data from #KvasirCapsule: From bounding boxes to uncertain segmentation masks.

What you see in the pictures are two sample images from #KvasirCapsule, classified by the clinical experts as an erosion and annotated with a bounding box around the lesion. From within the bbox, we took N=500 sample points, with which we prompted SAM.

I'm going to play with #SAM a bit more. While you're waiting for more results, have a look at this awesome thread + paper on using #SAM for med. image segmentation:

Sometimes #SAM segments the Ulcer really well. But especially in presence of air bubbles or noise, it fails to properly segment.

I just tried #SegmentAnythingModel #SAM on capsule endoscopic images from #KvasirCapsule.

Mask generation on full image over-segments a lot, which was expected.

Right then all the fight left Dean. Sam is offering him this. As if he shut his eyes he could pretend it were John’s hands and John’s breath that were wandering all over his skin, mapping out every scar and secret on his body.
“Do you feel closer to him now?” Dean asked in the middle of the thrusts. Sam didn’t say anything, nor did he stop the biting. Maybe Dean’s question was smothered in the moans.
That was the last thing that either of them said that night.
