Around 12:45 I was at home and felt what seemed to be a huge earthquake as I felt two loud jolts. Our home was spared, our neighbors were initially trapped and two garages are toast from two 100+ foot eucalyptus trees falling on detached garages and destroying 3 cars. No injuries. My Sony needed to stay packed this morning when I woke up in San Diego, but luckily I did have my phone to take a few snaps of an outrageously gorgeous scene at the harbor. #SantaAna offshore winds made visibility really incredible. If I were staying for more than a couple of days, I would need a humidifier for sure.
