My mom's place in the #SantaCruzMountains (#SFBayArea #California) got something like 4 inches of #snow. There has never been enough snow to stick to the roads since she moved up there in 1985. It's a disaster, because the weight of the snow has brought down branches and entire trees (many weakened by the drought), which in turn have brought down power, Internet, and presumably phone service for those who still have land lines. She counted 7 of Comcast's poles down on her street.
