I've been looking into why Waihau Bay near the East Cape of New Zealand is such a good location for recreational Southern Bluefin Tuna fishing. After working in California for 11 years, the sparsity of oceanographic information about the region is startling for me.

I ordered these last time they were offered. Haven't opened a can yet but they look pretty good. I had good experience with Wild Planet's premium tuna so I expect decent quality from them when I get around to opening a tin. Is $1.37 a tin a good sardines price? These are marketed as hand caught upscale fish from pure water Nordic fjords etc. I may reorder now.

I'm also wearing my cream-colored ensemble. Will I make it through the next 20 minutes without gerbering down my shirt? It's a mystery.
